Our Message

God has sent a message to “every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people”, through the three angels of Revelation 14. It is completed by the message of the fourth angel, of Revelation 18. Its language is symbolic; so, in order to understand the message, the symbols must be interpreted accordingly. Follow bellow a short explanation of its main points. We let the Bible interpret the symbols, as you will see. We suggest you to talk with God in your mind and ask Him wisdom to discern if the following explanation is true or false. Jesus has promissed: “if any man will do His will, he shall know the doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speak of Myself” (John 7:17).

First angel’s message:

“And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people, Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.” Revelations 14:6, 7.

Main points:

The angel announces the “gospel”. It is the good news of good things: God has given us salvation through Jesus Christ. In short, we deserved to die for our sins, our wickedness; but God has already pardoned us. He made peace with us, sacrifying His Son Jesus Christ in our place. Thus, the debt for our transgressions of His law was paid. We don’t need to die; rather, we have the privilege to live eternally, as the angels that never desobeyed God. And soon, when Jesus come back to Earth, we shall be gathered to meet Him on air, together with the risen believers. Then, at the end, we shall be forever with Jesus, God and the angels, in one place where there will be no more death, nor pain and cry. We shall be eternally young and happy. We shall live near of our beloved ones, that also had not rejected God’s salvation. We then could make a voyage through the universe, know other galaxies and worlds, and the most higher human projects could be carried out. The condition to usufruct this blessing is to accept Jesus’s sacrifice as our Substitute; and His righteouness that is communicated to us through His Spirit. It motivates and give us the strenght to obey all the Ten Commandments of God’s holy law. So it qualify us to participate of all these blessings. Biblical proofs:

“How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!” Romans 10:15.

“For our gospel came not unto you in word only, but also in power, and in the Holy Ghost, and in much assurance; as ye know what manner of men we were among you for your sake.” I Thessalonians 1:5.

“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.” Romans 1:16

All blessings announced in the gospel are given through Christ. The gospel’s good news can be experienced only by those who accept Jesus. This is why Paul said that he announced, through the gospel, “the unsearchable riches of Christ” Ephesians 3:8.

The gospel is “eternal” – it was the same before and after the death of Christ, and remains the same today. The gospel of God’s old covenant, of the ancient testament, is the same of the new covenant, of the biblical’s new testament.

To whom must the gospel be proclaimed?

“unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people” Revelation 14:6.

How it must be proclaimed?

“with a loud voice” Revelation 14:7. Not faint-heartedly. Through all means of midia – tv, radio, folders, books, house by house, etc.. “loud voice” also means “to speak filled with the Holy Ghost”. “Elisabeth was filled with the Holy Ghost: And she spake out with a loud voice, and said, Blessed {art} thou among women, and blessed {is} the fruit of thy womb” Luke 1:41, 42.

4) What does the first angel says?

“Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come” Revelation 14:7.

The first angel announces that the judgment of all men has arrived. “For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things {done} in {his} body, according to that he hath done, whether {it be} good or bad.” II Corinthians 5:10. There will be a judgment of men before Jesus come back for the second time to the earth.

5) When and were does this judgment take place? Will we be there to defend us?

Judgment takes place on heaven. We will not be present there. There will be God, Jesus and the angels: “I beheld till the thrones were cast down, and the Ancient of days did sit, whose garment {was} white as snow, and the hair of his head like the pure wool: his throne {was like} the fiery flame, {and} his wheels {as} burning fire.  A fiery stream issued and came forth from before him: thousand thousands ministered unto him, and ten thousand times ten thousand stood before him: the judgment was set, and the books were opened.” Daniel 7:9, 10.?
The prophet didn’t see men in the judgment scene. We can be there only by faith, believing that we are being judged and preparing for the event. Paul has said that God “made {us} sit together in heavenly {places} in Christ Jesus:” Ephesians 2:6. We live this experience since we embrace the faith in Jesus.

Bible says that it is only after the books of each person be opened, when Jesus will receive the kingdom from God’s hands:

“the judgment was set, and the books were opened ... I saw in the night visions, and, behold, {one} like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient of days, and they brought him near before him. And there was given him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages, should serve him: his dominion {is} an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom {that} which shall not be destroyed.”Daniel 7:10, 13, 14.

Thus, the judgment of investigation of our books ends before Jesus come back to Earth to establish the kingdom of God. In this investigative judgment, won’t be considered the cases of those that refused the faith in Jesus. “He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.” (John 3:18). Only the cases of those who had belived shall be considered. But Bible explaines that are not believers those who only say “I believe in Jesus” but deny Him by their works. “For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness” Romans 10:10. Thus, many professed “believers” shall be condemned, and many who never professed the name of Christ with theirs lips, but holeheartedly believed and obeyed the instructions they received from His Spirit into their conscience, and followed them, shall be counted with the believers. They “shew the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and {their} thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one another;) {their conscience...: or, the conscience witnessing with them} {the mean...: or, between themselves} In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ” Romans 2:15, 16.

The graphic representation bellow show the sequence of events:

                         believers are judged

On the judgment, when verified that the believer remained faithfull unto the end of his life, their sins shall be blotted out from the book, and he shall inherit the eternal life.

How do we prepare ourselves to the judgment??

“Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come” Revelation 14:7.

“And the same day, when the even was come, he saith unto them, Let us pass over unto the other side. And when they had sent away the multitude, they took him even as he was in the ship. And there were also with him other little ships. And there arose a great storm of wind, and the waves beat into the ship, so that it was now full. And he was in the hinder part of the ship, asleep on a pillow: and they awake him, and say unto him, Master, carest thou not that we perish? And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm. And they feared exceedingly, and said one to another, What manner of man is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him?” Mark 4:35-41.

“Fear God and give Him glory” is to admire His great love for us and His power to save us through Jesus Christ. Bible give us one example: “And he entered into a ship, and passed over, and came into his own city. And, behold, they brought to him a man sick of the palsy, lying on a bed: and Jesus seeing their faith said unto the sick of the palsy; Son, be of good cheer; thy sins be forgiven thee. And, behold, certain of the scribes said within themselves, This {man} blasphemeth. And Jesus knowing their thoughts said, Wherefore think ye evil in your hearts? For whether is easier, to say, {Thy} sins be forgiven thee; or to say, Arise, and walk? But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power on earth to forgive sins, (then saith he to the sick of the palsy,) Arise, take up thy bed, and go unto thine house. And he arose, and departed to his house. But when the multitudes saw {it}, they marvelled, and glorified God, which had given such power unto men.” Matthew 9”1-8.

The “fear”of God lead us to trust in Him, obey His voice and to be displeased with the evil. The consequence is that we obey the Ten Commandments: “by the fear of the LORD {men} depart from evil.” Proverbs 16:6. “Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this {is} the whole {duty} of man. {Let…: or, The end of the matter, even all that hath been heard, is}
For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether {it be} good, or whether {it be} evil.” Eclesiastes 12:13, 14.

To “give glory” to God is repent from evil and look to please God:?

“And men… repented not to give him glory.” Revelation 16:9.

“Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.” I Corinthians 10:31.

What does the second angel says?

“And there followed another angel, saying, Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication.” Revelation 14:8

Babylon was an ancient kingdom that concentrated civil and religious government in one person. So, civil governement imposed religion. The babylonian religion had the following characteristics:

– Veneration of the stars, specially of the sun, and of the “trinity” – three persons in one sole divinity.
– Consecration of the first day of the week (sunday) to worship service.
– Consecration of images to the ends of veneration and worship (read on Daniel chapter 3).
– Belief in the immortality of the soul.

The second angel of Revelation 14 announces the spiritual decay of all churches that adopted the doctrines and practices of babylon. Jesus compared His doctrine with pure water: “The woman saith unto him, Sir, thou hast nothing to draw with, and the well is deep: from whence then hast thou that living water?… Jesus answered and said unto her, Whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again: But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.” John 4:11-14. By constrast, the intoxicating vine correspond to the false teachings of babylon.

What does the third angel says?

Apocalipse 14:9-12.

“And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive {his} mark in his forehead, or in his hand, The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb: And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name. Here is the patience of the saints: here {are} they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.” Revelation 14:9-12.

7) Who is the “beast”?

The beast is a power that unite three characteristics – it is religious, politic and persecutor:

religious, because it is worshiped: “and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who {is} like unto the beast?” Revelation 13:4.

politic, because it received authority to rule over the nations: “power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations” Revelation 13:7.

persecutor: “And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them” Revelation 13:7.

The testimony of history confirms that one power fits the description given by the angel – that who, on the name of religion, has persecuted and killed Bible studens on the Dark Age, classifying them as “heretic”, and who had authority over the European kings – the papacy.

What is the “image of the beast”?

It is a “copy” of the beast. It is a religious power that follows the papacy’s path – uses the political power to persecute and kill those who disagree of its doctrines. Calling our attention to the “image of the beast”, the third angel shows that other churches shall repeat the history of the papacy. The “christian coalision” movement – union of protestant churches of the United States who aims to impose the religion through the power of the State, shows that the third angel’s message shall be soon acomplished, and the decayed protestant churches shall be converted into a “image of the beast”.

What is the “mark” of the beast?

It is a mark of authority. Acording with catholic records, the papacy authority’s mark is sunday observance as a day of rest:

“Protestants do not realize that by observing Sunday, they accept the authority of the spokesperson of the Church, the Pope” (Our Sunday Visitor, February 5, 1950).

On the middle age, papacy had the three characteristics of the beast described on Revelation: it was a “political, religious and persecutor” power. Today, however, it has no more the power of to use the government to persecute those who disagree of it’s doctrines. It can’t be nominated: “persecutor”. It had lost one of the characteristics of “beast”. In this sense, it is correct to say that the “beast” was, but “is not” today (Rev. 17:8). So, it can’t be said that “sunday observance” is, today, the mark of the beast. Many believers observe it today, according with the light they have until now. But the third angel shows that the papacy will have again the power of “beast”. It’s mark of authority, sunday observance, shall be imposed by law. When this happens, the papacy will once again have all the characteristics of “beast”. On this time, the controversy between the day of rest shall be extended worldwide. The third angel’s message, admonishing men to refuse the papal authority’s mark, will reach all people on earth. Then, men will be not more ignorant. Once cleared the subject, those who prefer the sign of men authority in place of the sign of God’s authority, will receive the mark of the beast. The sign of God is the “sabbath” of the fourth commandment, as the Bible reveals:

“Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work: But the seventh day {is} the sabbath of the LORD thy God: {in it} thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that {is} within thy gates: For {in} six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them {is}, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.” Exodus 20:8-11.

“Wherefore the children of Israel shall keep the sabbath, to observe the sabbath throughout their generations, {for} a perpetual covenant. It {is} a sign between me and the children of Israel for ever: for {in} six days the LORD made heaven and earth, and on the seventh day he rested, and was refreshed.” Exodus 31:16, 17

What does the expression that follow means: “receive the the mark of the beast in the right hand, or in the forehead”. The hand is a symbol of work. It appears on workers parties’s flags. On the Bible, it has the same meaning. To have the mark “in the right hand” means abstention from work on sundays. The forehead is symbol of “conscience”. To have the mark in the forehead means to observe conscienciously the sunday as a day of rest. When God wanted that His people realized that it was needed to obey His commandments conciensciously and by practice, He said: “And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart… thou shalt bind them for a sign upon thine hand, and they shall be as frontlets between thine eyes.” Deuteronomy 6:6-8.

What will be the condemnation of those who receive the mark of the beast?

“The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation” Revelation 14:10. That is, the seven plagues of revelation shall fell upon him: “And I saw another sign in heaven, great and marvellous, seven angels having the seven last plagues; for in them is filled up the wrath of God.” Revelation 15:1. The seven plagues are the seven most terrible judgements that will fall upon the world, since it was created. They are described on Revelation 16. The “cup” of His indignation shall be poured out on the last plague. Then, stones of “one talent” of weight, which is aproximately 75lbs, will fall upon the wicked ones: “And the seventh angel poured out his vial into the air; and there came a great voice out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, It is done… and great Babylon came in remembrance before God, to give unto her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of his wrath. And every island fled away, and the mountains were not found. And there fell upon men a great hail out of heaven, {every stone} about the weight of a talent: and men blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail; for the plague thereof was exceeding great.” Revelation 16:17, 19-21.

After death, in the final judgement, he worshipers of the beast will be ressurrected and then be burned in the lake of fire: “he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb” Revelation 14:10. They will be ressurected to hear their sentence, and will be punished with fire. The lake of fire will consume the wicked ones. This will be their second death. “And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is {the book} of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. {hell: or, the grave} And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.” Revelation 20:12-15. The lake of fire will not be an everlasting punishment. The wicked will die again, consumed by the fire. Then, they will be no more. “and they shall be as though they had not been.” Obadiah 1:16. In His mercy, God determines the punishment for each one according to his works. The sins of each one are the “fuel” for the fire. When “fuel” finish, the wicked will loose their lifes and their suffering will end. Their debt for the sin shall be paid.

The expression: “they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name” (Revelation 14:11), means that they rejected forever the rest proposed by God – the sabbath. This is the only reason why they doesn’t have rest day nor night. And the expression “the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever” means that there will be a rememberance of the destruction of the wicked ones, as the smoke, after the fire is extingued, demonstrate that fire was once there. The rememberance of the terrible consequences of sin will remain. So, sin will never rise up again. “God shall wipe all tears” shed as result of sin. “there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.” Revelation 21:4. The sin, that is the transgression of the Ten Commandments of God (I John 3:4), shall be repulsive to all, as something disgusting. All will have delight in obey God, recognizing that obedience is the warranty of their happiness.

What wil be the result of to hear the third angel’s message?

“Here is the patience of the saints: here {are} they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.” Revelation 14:12.

Purified by the perfect obedience to the law of God; sanctified by the perfect sabbath observance, the saints shall see the divine work finished in their lifes. They will reflect perfectly, in their character, the character of Jesus. They will be people moraly enobled. This work will be completed in theirs lifes by faith. The third angel points to Jesus and His work, and invite men to observe His exemple of faith and follow Him, until to be so wrapped up in the contemplation of their Master that they will have His faith, His perfect trust in God. Through this faith, God shall write the Ten Commandments in their hearts, fullfiling His promise:

“This {is} the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them” Hebrews 10:16.

The saints of God will happily accept this work of God be done on their lifes. They will keep the commandments they shall receive on their heart. They will have happiness in the obedience. This happiness they will receive from God. You find studies that go deeper on this subject in other articles of this website, as well on some books promoted by this ministry – specially those written by Ellet J. Waggoner and Alonzo T. Jones.

What is the fourth angel’s message?

“And after these things I saw another angel come down from heaven, having great power; and the earth was lightened with his glory. And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird. For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies. {abundance: or, power} And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues. For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities.” Revelation 18:1-5.

The fourth angel repetes the message of the second angel, denouncing Babylon’s decay, adding the warning to men flee from the midst of the fallen churches represented by it, in order to escape of her plagues. The plagues announced here are the same commented before on this article, described on Revelation 16. This message cames in adiction of the former three. These four messages consist themselves into the Ultimate Warning to be given to Earth inhabitants, to save them, if they give heed to them. We hope you hear them and make the right choice!
